Community Outreach/Agency Coordination
Project support and acceptance from the business, community, and government stakeholders at the local, state, and federal, levels are essential to the success of any project. Utilizing their resources and existing statewide relationships, MBI has the capacity to perform for consulting engineering firms, agencies, and corporations. MBI integrates necessary community outreach, public relations, and agency coordination program(s) required for the success of any infrastructure project. Additionally, MBI is certified by the NJ Department of Transportation as a Cost Basis Approved Sub-Consultant and by the NJ Department of Treasury as a Small Business Enterprise.
Our typical advocacy action plans contain five core components:
- Planning
- Grassroots Activities
- Public Involvement/Government Affairs
- Project Web Site Development & Maintenance
- Media Relations
These core components of the advocacy action plan will meet, and exceed, the detailed scope of work, as well as the goals and objectives of the client. Our team remains at the ground level at all times to keep in constant contact with the constituency impacted by the project and to resolve issues and conflicts with potential traffic coordination, detour routes, construction noise, pollution, parking issues, etc.
