Matthew J. Stanton

Matthew Stanton has over 30 years experience in the public affairs arena. He has been a partner with MBI since 2003 and is responsible for various clients in the transportation, engineering, infrastructure and medical and health care fields. He is known for his extensive knowledge and expertise in areas of media relations, government affairs, community relations and public outreach/involvement.

Prior to joining MBI, Matt served as Chief of Staff of the NJ Transit Corporation where he managed and oversaw the day-to-day operations of all external affairs functions for the corporation (i.e. corporate communications, public outreach/involvement, corporate sales, marketing & merchandising and government & community relations on the federal, state and local levels).

Previously Matt spent three years with the 7th largest independent national public relations firm in the United States serving various accounts, working with media outlets throughout the country. He spent four years working with MTA NYCT in New York City as their Lobbyist/Community Relations Specialist and five years in New York City Hall in New York City working for City Council Speaker Peter Vallone.

Matt received his B. A. and M.P.A. from Fordham University.
