Jeffrey Warsh is responsible for clients in a broad range of fields — infrastructure, transportation, homeland security, economic development, engineering and alcoholic beverage trade practices.

Prior to joining MBI, Warsh served as Executive Director of the New Jersey Transit Corporation, the third largest transit agency in the nation. Warsh was responsible for a workforce of more than 10,000 employees, a fleet of 3,200 buses, 800 commuter rail cars, and 45 light rail vehicles.

Jeff served as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly from 1992 to 1996, where he was Chairman of the Regulatory Oversight Committee and a member of the Transportation and Environment Committees. He is an attorney with 25 years experience in both the public and private sectors. He has served as Regulatory and Legislative Counsel to the NJ Department of Human Services and as a Staff Attorney for the NJ Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Today, Warsh serves as Executive Director and General Counsel to the New Jersey Wine & Spirits Wholesalers Association and the Legislative Representative for the New Jersey Licensed Beverage Association. Warsh sits as a member of the Board of the New Jersey Committee of the Regional Planning Association, the New York Metropolitan Region’s oldest and most respected planning non-profit organization.

He earned a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and a Doctor of Law from Emory University.

Jeff was named a Distinguished Research Fellow in Transportation at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in March of 2002. He has been honored with numerous national and statewide awards including the 1992 Good Guy of the Year Award from the New Jersey Women’s Political Caucus.
